Last fall, we organized our Read for the Record Day book drive at the Gaines Park afterschool program in West Palm Beach. Partnering with Rohi's Readery and Scholastic, we rehomed over 250 books, spreading the joy of reading. The West Palm Beach Manel Public Library offered onsite library membership, enriching the event with endless possibilities for children and families.
Our Read for the Record Day event was not just about distributing books; it was about fostering a community of readers and empowering children to unlock their potential through literacy. It was a day filled with laughter, curiosity, and the joy of discovery—a testament to the magic that happens when we come together to celebrate the written word.
